Your role as a volunteer will be checking-in and greeting tour visitors at selected garden locations throughout Murfreesboro. The Secret Garden Tour is Discovery Center’s signature event and each year has over 300 guests in attendance. In order to continue providing these events for the community, we rely upon the generosity and expertise of volunteers like you. Volunteers will be able to choose their shifts depending on availability of shift. June 8th shift options: All day 9:45 - 4:15, Morning 9:45 - 1:00, Afternoon 1:00 - 4:15
June 9th shift options: All day 1:00 - 4:15

Description
Discovery Center at Murfree Spring is a hands-on, environmental, cultural and educational museum for all ages. The 32,000-square-foot facility, in the heart of middle Tennessee, features programs and exhibits that promote STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) education. A visit to Discovery Center encourages the explorer to grow through purposeful play. Discovery Center hosts more than 120,000 children and families annually who visit, explore the exhibits, and tour the urban wetlands.
