Experienced Native American spirituality faclitator/provider is sought to lead talking circles and sweatlodges for incarerated adults.
Assit the Adult Corrections Facility (ACF) Chaplain in determining resident participation in Native American spirituality offerings; prepare for and conduct seasonal outdoor sweat lodge ceremonies and indoor spirituality sessions for ACF residents, escort resident fire keepers, manage the welfare of residents participating in outdoor ceremonies, extinguish the ceremonial fire and properly store equipment. Volunteers in this role will work in partnership with ACF staff to maintain safety and security in outdoor settings.
Serve 1-2 times per month, weekends. More volunteer time can be accommodated if provider is available.

Description
The Adult Corrections Facility (ACF) provides short-term (up to one year) custody and programming for adult offenders convicted of felony, gross misdemeanor, and misdemeanor offenses.
The facility has a capacity of 477 -- 399 beds in the men's section and 78 beds in the women's.
