Now more than ever, digital literacy skills are crucial! We are in search of volunteers to support adults as they build their beginning and intermediate computer literacy. We need friendly and patient volunteers who will help our learners to build confidence as they learn how to operate a Chromebook and to use popular Google Apps (Gmail / Docs / Chrome etc). Our classes are welcoming, friendly and supportive and take learners from turning on a Chromebook, to creating documents and working with popular Google Apps.
We offer classes in the mornings, afternoons and evenings throughout the week, so we have opportunities to suit everyone's schedule. At the moment, our classes are on hold but we also offer virtual learning opportunities and are exploring ways that volunteers can help support our learners at this time. If you would like to be involved, we'd love to hear from you.
