SR Socially Relevant (TM) Film Festival New York is a film festival that focuses on socially relevant film content, dealing with human interest stories that raise awareness to social problems and might offer positive solutions through the powerful medium of cinema. SR(TM) believes that through raised awareness, expanded knowledge about diverse cultures, and the human condition as a whole, it is possible to create a better world free of violence, hate and crime.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are looking for volunteers to assist the event production team during our annual film festival in March 2017. The event production team's responsibilities include the following:
- Setting up of the venue of daily Filmmakers/VIPs event
- Assisting Red Carpet events during opening and closing ceremonies
- Other duties as needed
Volunteers will also be given opportunities to watch certain screening based on availabity and networking with filmmakers from all over the world.
