As a volunteer, you should be able to respect and interact appropriately with children, take direction from classroom teachers (allowing them to remain the child's primary caregiver), and maintain professional boundaries with families. The volunteer will be responsible for assisting with classroom set-up and clean up, supporting child transitions, and assisting teachers and children while they're in the classroom or on the playground.
