A learner who is studying to earn a GED certificate often needs a tutor to help with weak areas. We provide an online GED prep system which gives the learner practice tests to evaluate his/her specific needs. The areas tested are: Language Arts Reading & Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The Math portion involves understanding fractions, multiplication/division, word problems, and basic geometry and algebra. The Science and Social Studies portions primarily involve reading comprehension where the information is provided and the answer must be determined.

If you can commit to meeting with a learner for one to two hours per week, we will provide the free space and instructional materials the two of you will need. Attendance at one of our Basic Tutor Trainings Classes is required before you can be paired with a learner.
