Walk to End Lupus Now(tm)-Milwaukee celebrates 16 years! We are taking steps to raise awareness and funds for our fight against lupus. This is the Wisconsin Chapter’s 2016 flagship event which goes a long way in enabling us to continue our vision as we strive to advance the science and medicine of lupus. Our ultimate goal is to find a cure and improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus.
The 2 mile walk begins and ends in Hoyt Park. Participants head east on the Oak Leaf Trail along the Menomonee River Parkway. Following the walk is a snack and entertainment. The walk offers a chance for lupus patients, their families and friends to come together to raise awareness and funds to fight lupus.
We are looking for volunteers to help with general set-up, registration, food, along the route, clean-up, children's art tent, and more! Thanks for your consideration, we would love to see you!
