ORGANIZATION: OhioHealth Hospice in Athens (formerly Appalachian Community Hospice)

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 11 people are interested

Flower Power volunteers create beautiful floral bouquets for hospice clients and their families using donated flowers. The bouquets are arranged on Monday afternoons during the summer, and hospice nursing staff, social workers and volunteersand deliver the flowers throughout the week.

If there are interested folks who are unable to arrange at 12:30 on Mondays, we are always grateful for donated garden flowers and greenery.

This is a lovely way to add to the Quality of Life of those in hospice care.

We will also have opportunities to arrange donated flowers from special events around town. Please contact Christie at 740-331-7040 for more information. Or write to Christie at christie.truly@ohiohealth.com
