The Habitat for Humanity ReStore - Smyrna will provide funds to support the North West Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity affiliate, as they provide affordable housing for families in the community who need it.

The ReStore sells donated new and gently-used furniture, household decor, appliances and building supplies to the general public at prices greatly reduced from retail. We rely heavily on volunteers from the community to keep the store running smoothly and to make the shopping experience a very positive one for the customers. Volunteers assist shoppers, unload, check and clean donantions, set up merchandise on the sales floor, help shoppers load their purchases into their vehicles, etc.

Typically, a volunteer serves a 4-hour shift once a week, but even just a shift or two a month would be appreciated. The ReStore is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 10 AM to 6 PM. For more information, contact James Currie, at jcurrie@habitat.org.

Some court-ordered volunteers can be accepted, depending upon the charge. Please let us know ahead of time, if you need to volunteer because of a court-ordered situation.
