- Volunteers are needed as Kitchen Helpers at the Bright Stars Head Start/Early Childhood Education Center programs for 3-5 year olds. Duties include heating and serving pre-cooked breakfasts, lunches, and snacks delivered daily from VOA’s main kitchen, and after meal clean up. Volunteers are also responsible for and will be trained by Head Start staff in State of CO requirements for food storage, food temperatures, and sanitation. Experience in commercial kitchens, a liking for young kids, and Spanish speaking skills a plus. Morning and afternoon shifts available Monday through Thursday between 8 am and 4 pm.
