Arts Marketing Volunteer/Intern
The Arts of Life is a community of artists with and without disabilities working together to realize our full potential. We are currently seeking an Arts Marketing Volunteer/Intern. This unpaid volunteer position is vital to our community and is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant, creative group of adult artists. The Arts Marketing Intern or Volunteer is responsible for working under the direction of our Arts Coordinator to develop, facilitate and maintain the current marketing objectives. Arts Marketing Volunteer/Intern with learn how to develop and work from a marketing plan and how to create and deliver a clear agency message.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a working marketing plan to include objectives, timelines and responsible parties
- Implement the marketing plan and collaborate with appropriate parties
- Submit proposals for exhibitions and assist the studio community in determining whose work is ready to be marketed for shows and galleries.
- Work collaboratively with studio community to prepare and submit the necessary information meeting gallery and organization deadlines.
- Develop a working plan to increase our consignment opportunities, maintaining current partnerships, and researching new opportunities
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Possess strong written and verbal skills
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills
- Strong research skills
- Comfortable in using a MAC platform
- Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
- Solve problem solve and work with minimal supervision.
- Work in a spirit of mutual cooperation.
- Show initiative, dedication, and creativity.
- Have a consistently positive and resilient attitude
- Marketing experience a plus
