Hospice of St. Francis is Brevard County's only independent, non-profit hospice. Volunteers are an important part of the care and comfort we provide to terminally ill patients and their families. If you are a caring individual, able to make a commitment to visiting a patient weekly for 1 - 4 hours, and you wish to provide compassionate support to a terminally ill individual, we invite you to contact us for more information.

Volunteers provide companionship and caregiver relief in the patient's home, nursing home or assisted living facility. No experience is necessary - we provide you with training and on-going support. Our patients live throughout Brevard County, so whereever you live, there is likely an individual beginning their end-of-life journey for whom you can make a significant difference. Our hospice was founded on the concept of "neighbor helping neighbor". Click on "I Want to Help!" to learn more!
