Established in January 2015, Des Moines European Heritage Association (http://www.dmeha.org) has grown from three founders to a board of four, a volunteer executive director and an event planning committee of 25. Six community members serve as consultants. Board Member Volunteer hours are approximately 200 hours per year.
In addition to several fundraisers, we are producing the first Christkindlmarket Des Moines in 2016 with plans to produce this community experience for many years to come.
