Primarily responsible for establishing partnerships and recruiting sponsors.
Major responsibilities:
- Establishing Relationships/Partnerships with local organizations.
- Persuasively communicating the organization’s mission and programs to potential funders.
- Establishing and maintaining personal contact and relationships with foundation, businesses, contacts and program officers.
- Prioritizing projects to keep multiple projects moving in a timely manner, meet deadlines and manage supplemental material required for proposals.
Commitment Length: 1 Year
Time Commitment: 2-5 hours weekly

Our mission is to Coach, Motivate, and Support South Florida high school college-bound students through mentoring services and scholarships, particularly English as a Second Language students.
Description
Founded in December of 2012 as a non-profit organization, Scholar Career Coaching (Scholar CC) provides college and career services to South Florida high school college-bound students in Title I high schools, with a focus on ESL (English as a Second Language) students. While our focus is on ESL, we welcome all interested high school students. Our immigrant students are from low-income minority families, many of whom will be the first generation to graduate high school and to attend college.
