Kitezh children's community is a place of happiness for abondend or orphaned Russian children. It is a rural community of foster parents and teachers who take children from orphanages and raise and educate them along with their own children. Volunteers live with a family, teach English and take part in the daily working and social life of the community.

Ecologia Youth Trust provides opportunities to broaden young people's minds through cultural exchange in Russia and Kenya. Kitezh Children's Community in Russia is a community of foster families, children and teachers, committed to saving the lives of homeless children from disturbed backgrounds. Volunteers from all over the world assist by teaching English and helping with the daily activities. A new volunteering opportuntiy is now offered at Kithoka Amani Community Home in Meru, Kenya.
