Heron Habitat Helpers is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer for a naturalist position at the Commodore Park Heron Colony.
Do you love to be outdoors; love birds; and have patience? Your task would be to observe and record data for three hours, one day a week.
You would be working with Mike Marsh and Debbie Jacobsen, HHH board members and fellow volunteers, who will also provide training.
The data is synthesized at the end of the season into results that are reported to WA Department of Fish & Wildlife and other interested organizations. We’d like to have help with that as well, so it would be a bonus if you're savvy in Excel.
