A training assistant is responsible for assisting and aiding the training manager to prepare new employees for the job in the organization. A training assistant handles a wide range of clerical tasks, right from answering questions from employees to answering telephone calls, responding to emails and passing out training manuals during training sessions. The training assistant is part of the human resources department in the Tumbleweed organization.

Description
Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development is a private, nonprofit agency founded in 1972 by Soroptimist International of Phoenix to provide emergency shelter and services for runaway and homeless youth. The mission of Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development is to provide a safe space for collaborating with youth and young adults in our community who are vulnerable or experiencing homelessness. These safe spaces will allow access to caring relationships, resources, and programs that offer opportunities for young people to develop their individual potential
Population served: Homeless, abused, abandoned, neglected and at-risk youth ages 12-25 residing in Maricopa County.
