Join The Citizens Program of Best Buddies Maryland and make a difference in the life of an adult with an intellectual or developmental disability simply by being a friend!
Can you meet with a buddy once or twice a month? Are you able to talk on the phone, email, or facebook with a new friend once a week? This opportunity is super flexible-- you and your buddy can meet whenever and wherever works best for you!
You can help meet someone's fundamental need for acceptance, connection, and validation by simply doing the things you normally do-- watching an Orioles game, going out to eat, seeing a movie, or just sitting down to chat-- with a new friend.
You can be a part of the solution as we work to create a more inclusive culture for people with disabilities. We would love to have your involvement!
