CNIB has openings for a Reception-Admin Assistant.

Responsibilities while on reception include:

  • Direct all telephone and in-person inquiries and deliveries to the appropriate person or department

  • Provide consumers with information on CNIB programs and services

  • Receive and track attendee responses for events

  • Receive and record monies for donations and campaigns

  • Complete necessary paperwork for ID cards, library registration, eye report requests

  • Prepare mail using Canada Post mail system

  • May assist with entry and maintaining of client database management system.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support for other departments:
    • Complete data entry in excel documents

    • Make calls to potential consumers in an effort to engage them in various campaign

Requirements & Commitment

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • Minimum 1 shift per week; 6 month commitment
  • Current openinigs: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays: 8:30am-4:30pm
