There are non-advocate volunteer needs that come up from time to time at CASA. These might include assistance with office help, mailings, community events, fundraisers and other single day service projects. If you would like to sign-up for notifications about these kinds of volunteer opportunities with CASA, please contact Eugina Scoggins: Eugina@casariverregion.org.

Mission Statement
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a private, non-profit organization incorporated in November 1984. The mission of CASA is to provide volunteer advocates who are committed to work on behalf of abused and neglected children involved in the court system. CASA volunteers provide a constant source of information to the court and undertake any and all activities necessary for the promotion of these children's health, safety and welfare until a permanent disposition is made.
Description
To meet our mission, CASA recruits, screens, trains, supervises and supports individuals from the communities in Jefferson, Bullitt, Henry, Oldham, Trimble, Shelby and Spencer counties to perform this important advocacy function for children in need.
