Endangered Species Day Volunteers

The Endangered Species Coalition (ESC) is seeking volunteers to assist with the 12th annual International Endangered Species Day, which takes place on May 19, 2017. First approved by the U.S. Senate in 2006, Endangered Species Day is dedicated to expanding awareness of endangered species and habitat conservation, and to sharing success stories of species recovery. ESC is eager to work with volunteers who are passionate about conservation and endangered species. Volunteers will support and promote Endangered Species Day by researching potential event venues, contacting conservation and community groups, compiling an events directory, and distributing promotional materials. Volunteers will participate from home under the guidance and with support of ESC's Education Director.
