The Heritage Museum explores the North County San Dieguito area from the 1880s to the present, using artifacts, renovated houses and buildings, and projects to interest children and adults.

We are looking for an artist with the skills to help design and paint a large, 4' x 8' map for the nonprofit San Dieguito Heritage Museum project: Flowers, Farms & Families - What Grew Here Before the Homes Came.

The San Dieguito are was once known as the Flower Capital of the World. The SDHM has an ongoing project to tell the stories of these many flower and plant growers. A major attraction will be the outdoor 4' x 8' map pin-pointing the locations of the almost 100 flower growers of the past and presen.

You will create a rought working map first with the finished map to follow. We have skills with Google maps and old records to help. Artistic, we are not. You could be part of this historic project.
