ORGANIZATION: San Dieguito Heritage Museum

The San Dieguito area was once known as the Flower Capital of the World. The San Diegiuto Heritage Museum in Encinitas, CA needs a photographer/videographer to ride along with one of our museum volunteers as we interview these still present growers. We do the interviewing, you take the pictures of the people and the beautiful flowers and plants that they are growing.

There are still flower growers in our area and there are still families of past growers to tell their stories.

These interviews take place over a flexible and extended period of time. Requires at least a two-hour commitment per visit. We can schedule interviews to meet your availability. We have a Canon Vixia HF R300 video camera, but not the skills to use it.

Are you this volunteer? Contact Evelyn Weidner at 760-753-6086 or evelyn@weidners.com or Linda Hersch, who is the main contact for this post.
