What's A Kindful Leader?

A Kindful Leader is volunteer position. You lead one group volunteer event per month. You believe deeply in the benefits of volunteering and improving mental wellness. Kindful Leaders lead the volunteer effort, build community, and serve as an ambassador for Project Helping all while having fun!

Become A Kindful Leader With Project Helping!

At Project Helping, our focus is on the volunteer and their experience rather the volunteer event. Because of that, we are able to partner with a variety of community organizations making a positive impact in the community. We strive to offer volunteer opportunities that are social, meaningful, and accessible. Kindful Leaders ensure that the volunteer experience the day of the event is fun and engaging, resulting in a positive impact on the community and the mental wellness of our volunteers. Essentially, you’re making sure every event fulfills our mission!

We want to reach more people and need your help to grow! Become a Kindful Leader with Project Helping to experience the mental health benefits of volunteering for yourself, while helping us exponentially increase our impact in the community.

How Are Kindful Leaders Supported?

We are flexible to individual schedules, and we are happy to find a volunteer event that is appropriate for you. Project Helping does all the work to post, market, and recruit volunteers for the event.

We also provide online training on leadership skills, mental health awareness, and event logistics. Training is comprised of 2-5 minute videos and activities that you can complete at your own pace, and typically takes 2.5 hours to finish. We wrap up with phone call to make sure all of your questions are answered.
