What's A Phoenix Leader? A Phoenix Leader is volunteer position. You lead one group volunteer event per month in your local community. You believe deeply in the benefits of volunteering and improving mental health. We ask our leaders to show up for the event as a representative of Project Helping and lead the volunteer effort while building community and having fun!
How Are Phoenix Leaders Supported? We are flexible to individual schedules, and we are happy to find a volunteer e that is appropriate for you. Project Helping does all the work to post, market, and recruit volunteers for the event.
We also provide online training on leadership skills, mental health awareness, and event logistics. Training is comprised of 2-5 minute videos and activities that you can complete at your own pace, and typically takes 2.5 hours to finish. We wrap up with phone call to make sure all of your questions are answered.
