The review process takes place online - allowing you to work from the comfort of your home or wherever it is convenient. You’ll receive about a dozen applications to review. We allow about three weeks to complete the process and we will provide all of the review/scoring criteria. Applications will be ready to begin being reviewed on Mon., Mar. 4 and will be due completed by Mon., Mar. 25.

Visit saginawfoundation.org/site/reviewer to sign-up today to assist as a scholarship application reviewer before Thurs., Feb. 29.

Mission Statement

The Saginaw Community Foundation has one mission: to fulfill donor wishes and enable community initiatives to come to life, now and forever.

Description

Established in 1984, the Saginaw Community Foundation (SCF) is a tax-exempt charitable organization created by and for the people of Saginaw County. SCF enables people with philanthropic interests to easily and effectively support the issues they care about - immediately, or through their wills. Unlike a private foundation, SCF’s assets come from any number of individuals, corporations, foundations and organizations interested in improving the quality of life in our community. These gifts support and encourage activities across a range of philanthropic interests: arts, health, education, social service, environment, community improvement, etc. Unless specified otherwise, money raised in Saginaw County stays in Saginaw County to benefit its citizens and communities.
