JA of northern Indiana is seeking volunteers to go into the classroom to teach students the JA programs. We are finishing the year strong and need your help! All JA volunteers are trained on program materials and commitments range from once a week to one day.

Mission Statement

Junior Achievement educates and inspires young people to value free enterprise, business, and economics to improve the quality of their lives.

Description

Junior Achievement works with local schools and businesses to provide positive role models for area youth grades K-12. These role models enter the classroom for 4-12 weekly sessions to teach students about basic business and economic principles and help them become workforce ready. They accomplish this by sharing preplanned activities provided by Junior Achievement as well as their own workplace experiences.
