During the cleanup, volunteers will gather trash and litter from the stream or open space. We will provide volunteers with all supplies. You just need to have sturdy boots (or shoes), long sleeves, water, and fun!
Prince George’s County Public School students can receive service learning hours for participating. Participants under 18 will need approval of a parent/guardian.
If you would like to volunteer for a team or work as a team leader for our next cleanup, contact Tiffany Wright, the City’s Watershed Manager at 301-809-3043.

The Planning Department has increased its environmental focus over the past 5 or so years and is in charge of the annual stream cleanup. This is what this page is for. We meet rain or shine - - but not if there is lightning or thunder.
