Our agency is in need of volunteers to deliver meals to home-bound seniors, 60 years of age and older and their spouses in Waterloo, Monday-Friday from 10:30-12:00.

Our Mission is to create and provide services for older individuals, caregivers and persons with disabilities to empower them to maintain their independence.

Description

NEI3A serves as the critical entry point for customers to begin the process of navigating available resources through information and assistance as well as more in depth help through options counseling.

Today’s aging and disabled population face many challenges. Northeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging, or NEI3A, is dedicated to advocating for older and disabled persons and their caregivers, coordinating services to help them remain in their homes and vital members of the communities in which they live. The dedicated employees and volunteers who work each and every day to help bring hot meals and nutrition, case management, information and assistance, evidence based education, and places to socialize and interact with others has earned NEI3A a strong reputation in the communities we serve and throughout the state.

NEI3A serves following counties in Iowa: Allamakee, Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Chickasaw, Clayton, Delaware, Dubuque, Fayette, Grundy, Hardin, Howard, Jackson, Marshall, Poweshiek, Tama, Winneshiek.
