Volunteer ESL (English as a Second Language) volunteer teachers needed for morning classes in North Minneapolis - Open Door Learning Center Northside. Opportunities include large group story reading, conversation, and both assistant and lead teaching roles. Requires as little as 1 hour per week commitment.
No previous teaching experience or foreign language proficiency required! Curriculum and all necessary supplies provided
An excellent 12 hour training course, provided by the Minnesota Literacy Council, will be offered and required during your term of service.
Make a difference in someone's life by helping them learn the English language!
