VOLUNTEERS give from the heart in many ways, these can include:
Companionship-conversation, reading, writing, playing or listening to music
Caregiver Relief-providing respite for family and caregivers, running errands
Pet Therapy-certified pets are provided for comfort to patients and families
Office Support-copying, filing, phones, and other office activities
Bereavement Support-assist with support groups and mailings
Licensed Professional Support--massage therapists, beauticians, and others

Compassionate Care Hospice has defined as its mission to affirm life during its final stages by providing holistic compassionate care to patients and their families; by providing access to hospice care for underserved or difficult to serve populations; by wise and efficient use of available resources, and by educating the community in order to provide them with knowledge regarding end-of-life and hospice care around quality of life.
Compassionate Care Hospice provides specialized care and support for patients and their families. The hospice team includes nurses, physicians, social workers, chaplains, counselors, home health aide4s, and trained volunteers.
