We are seeking amazing men and women to join our volunteer team in Manatee County!
Our volunteer victim advocates are trained to respond to calls to assist the victim at the time of crisis. Back up for the volunteer is always available from our Centerstone Rape Crisis Services, call Victim Advocates. We ask our volunteers to give at least a one year commitment due to the amount of training involved. Training involves a 30 hour computerized training and 10 hours of supervised on-call hours. We require that the on-line training be completed within one month of enrolling. We also have a required monthly meeting/training. If this is something that you would like to learn more about, please call Catherine DeGendice @ 941-782-4243 or email at: Catherine.Degendice@centerstone.org
We look forward to hearing from you.
