Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: YMCA Teen Center

  • 5 people are interested

The Downtown Berkeley YMCA is hiring volunteer coaches and referees for our upcoming winter basketball league. Our league focuses on teaching children, ages 7-11, the fundamentals of basketball in a safe, fun, beginner friendly environment.

In this 10 week league teams practice once per week after school, and play one game per weekend. We're looking for people who are responsible, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with and educating youth; and willing to commit 2-3 hours per week coaching their team.

Coaches do not need prior basketball experience, but it is encouraged
