Sojourner Center is looking for a variety of passionate artists or craftpersons who might like to share their talent and skill with the women and/or children of Sojourner Center. We would like to bring a broad variety of arts and crafts to our families to support with their healing and teach them a coping skill that they can take with them.
We are open to the broad ranges of arts and crafts and are looking for basic to entry-level skill-set to be shared and taught to the women and/or children.
Some examples are: sewing, crocheting, painting, drawing, quilting, vision-boards, jewelry making, etc.
The time-frame of these classes or workshops are based on your availability and project needs.
Instructors may need to provide materials for the class/workshop though Sojourner Center may be able to support with additional materials.
We require all Volunteers to attend a tour, orientation, and obtain a level one fingerprint clearance card and be able to pass a background check.
