What is A Night at the Library?
A Night at the Library is a joint fundraiser between The Friends of HPL and The Literacy Connection to help raise awareness and funds for literacy programs and services. It's an adult-only, after-hours party that changes themes (and gets bigger and better) each year.
Murder at the Malt Shop
This year, Hedberg Public Library will cruise back to 1957 - and to Bobbi's, the best burger joint in town. Not only do they serve the world's greates malts, but you can count on their jukebox to be jumpin'.
Susie Q is your typical teeny bopper working as a waitress at the local diner. She'll serve you your malt with a wink and a smile. But the word from the bird is that Susie was always in the know. And maybe, this time, she knew too much.
It looks like at least six people think she did - and it'll be your job to make them sing.
Guests at Bobbi's will enjoy a cash bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres - plus an interactive murder mystery and live performances that will really razz your berries.
So grease up your jelly roll, bust out your poodle skirts and burn rubber to Bobbi's Diner...where it looks like murder is on the menu!
