Have you thought about becoming a hospice volunteer to provide companionship to patients near the end of life? Join Seasons Hospice for our Hospice Volunteer Orientation at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, MD. This course will provide you with the history and philosophy of hospice care as well as information about the dying process, grief, bereavement, family dynamics, and spiritual concerns. We'll focus on the role our volunteers play in providing companionship, caregiver relief and supportive presence to our patients and their loved ones. This class will take place on Wednesday, September 26 from 3:00pm to 9:00p.m. There is pre-class homework so please register by September 7.
