Calling all FUN Lovers!

Join us for the Steps to End Domestic Violence "FUN-raising Phone-a-thon" on March 26, 27, & 28! During this three-night event, volunteers will be calling past sponsors soliciting monetary donations or assisting with follow up correspondence with potential donors. Our call stations will be well organized to prepare volunteers for this challenge!

Not much of a talker? We still need you! If you don't like making calls, help out the admin volunteers with behind the scenes processing paperwork and boosting group morale! Plenty of food will be provided, along with prizes and good company!

Volunteers must have good phone etiquette and an understanding of confidentiality. Cheer and a great attitude are a big plus!

Mission Statement

Our mission is to assist in the transition to a safe, independent life for all those who have been affected physically, sexually, emotionally, or economically by domestic abuse and to work to promote a culture that fosters justice, equity, and safety.

Description

Formed in 1974, Steps to End Domestic Violence (formerly known as Women Helping Battered Women) has evolved into the largest provider of domestic violence services in Vermont. In addition to providing emergency shelter and housing advocacy, Steps to End Domestic Violence offers 24-hour hotline services, legal advocacy, economic justice, transitional housing, programs for youth and children, and education and prevention programs.
