Want to Volunteer Here?

CREA, a US not for profit, operates the Cocobolo Nature Reserve in Panama, a 1100 conservation area of tropical rainforests with monkeys, large cats, and over 333 species of birds. Our scientists are attempting to discover as many species as they can within the reserve, map the many streams and topographical features, as well as blaze and maintain trails within it.

We are looking for passionate environmentalists who are well organized, responsible and seek adventure in helping our field biologists collect important data from the Cocobolo Nature Reserve in Panama.

Volunteers will be expected to also help with general station maintenance and, if desired, embark on an individual research project of their own which could include biological or even helping set up a sustainable vegetable and flower garden.

The position is for at least one month and the volunteers will spend their time at the Cocobolo Biological Field Station.

Please see http://www.crea-panama.org/get-involved/internships-2/ and our Facebook page (www.fb.com/cocobolonature) for more details.
