There are a variety of ways to get involved at HOPE. Whether your heart lies with helping serve clients in our food pantry, working in the Thrift Store, helping clients in the Resource Center , or taking the lead on large projects, there is something for everyone. Our goal is to have highly trained, compassionate people who strive for excellence in their community. We offer ongoing orientation/training and a cooperative environment where everyone's ideas are important.
HOPE's Community Thrift Store and Food Pantry has a variety of opportunities for volunteers to be involved. We have opportunities for groups who want to serve just one time or individuals who want to volunteer on a regular basis. We accept volunteers from every walk of life, young and old (teens and teen groups must be chaperoned) as well as exciting opportunities for Interns and Bright Futures Students.
Additionally, HOPE hosts several fundraisers, community and outreach events throughout the year, where volunteers are needed. Information on volunteering for events such as these, will be posted separately and link to that specific event. Check our events page often for updates. We also encourage students to get involved in our creative event planning and marketing teams. If you have specific questions about volunteering at HOPE, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@HopeHelps.org.
