Small hospital, with a friendly environment!
Dependable volunteers are needed for general hospital support. Requires one 4-hour shift each week, with a minimum commitment of one year. Available shifts are Monday-Friday, 8:00-12:00.
Volunteers assist with discharges by wheeling patients to the designated pick-up area; deliver samples to lab; escort patients and visitors to rooms; deliver flowers; sort and distribute mail. Will train on reception desks and provide backup as necessary to other volunteer areas.

To supplement and complement hospital personnel, and to help further good public relations for the Hospital in the community. To support Placentia-Linda Hospital's mission statement, which is "Quality Healthcare With a Personal Touch"
Description
The Guild consists of approximately 100 volunteers who fulfill a wide range of services within the hospital. It is oriented toward service, rather than fund raising activities. However, more than $10,000 in Guild-operated Gift Shop proceeds are awarded annually in scholarships to students in the community studying in medically related fields.
