The Arts @ Henson-Parks, Inc. is a nonprofit ART & TECHNOLOGY community organization. We have programs that speak to "exploring the world" around you, using artistic and technological mediums to re-define, re-think, re-frame your view of the world around you.
Our website has a blog page titled "ART TALK" and we use that, and our social media platforms to inform, infotain, share facts, share opinions, and educate about topics we think are worthy and inspirational.
We are looking for journalists, writers, bloggers, researchers who like to write about their findings - to help us in our mission of re-framing perspectives, and re-defining ideas. This is a great opportunity for students majoring related fields, seasoned professionals, and the retired and semi-retired, and the second-career/ "true passion" seekers.
Your physical location can be anywhere in the world.
Topics pitched may be your own, or assigned as expansions of SM posts deserving of more detail.
Deadlines will be based on a pre-determined schedule that works best for both parties.

The mission of The Arts at Henson-Parks, Inc. Is to replace obstacles with opportunities to succeed by introducing and promoting the use of art and technology to individuals from under served communities as a medium of self-expression.
Description
We are a community-based, youth-focused organization that incorporates mission-enriched programming to encourage the re-thinking, re-defining and re-framing a participant's view of the world. We engage our participants in educational and recreational initiatives that encourage exploration, discovery and fearless self-expression. We look to captivate their mind, and then become their captive audience.
