Silver Springs - Martin Luther School is seeking one or more volunteer lifeguards for its Residential Treatment Program. Lifeguards will provide evening lifeguard coverage for children between the ages of 6 and 14 who are struggling with behavioral and emotional difficulties and will assist in keeping the pool area neat and tidy by picking up towels, pool equipment, etc. Volunteer lifeguards must have Red Cross Advanced Life Saving certification and be able to interact positively with children.

Gemma Services provides education, nurturing, and healing for children, teens, and families facing emotional and behavioral challenges. Our programs include a K-8th grade special education school, a psychiatric residential treatment program, and community based programs that include outpatient mental health services, foster family care and adoption, specialized behavioral health support in a child’s home or school, a Family Empowerment Center, and other in-home prevention services. Our goal is to help children, youth, and families achieve their brightest future and to strengthen the communities we serve.
