Compassionate Hospice Volunteers needed

Compassionate Care Hospice is a community based hospice program that provides excellent hospice care for patients and their families. We currently serve Gwinnett and Dekalb counties. We are currently seeking caring and dedicated volunteers to provide extra support to our patients and families.

How can Volunteers Help?

- Emotional Support - volunteers can visit patients and/or families and provide active listening and companionship.

-Relief for Caregivers - volunteers can sit with patients and provide relief to caregivers/families so that they are able to take care of important errands.

- Patient and Family Assistance - volunteers can run errands for patients, help with light housework, and prepare light meals.

- Volunteers can also come into the office and do office work: filling, answering phones, etc.

-Volunteers with special skills (musicians, massage therapists, hair dressers, artists, etc) are also a welcome addition to our volunteer team.

No experience is required. Volunteers will receive free training from a CCH employee.
