Volunteers give their time in two ways:
Patient Visit Volunteer- Visiting our patients to provide companionship and support through conversation, leisure activities or by being a supportive presence. You may also provide respite for caregivers so they may have some much needed time away to go to appointments or shopping. Our volunteers do not provide hands-on care.
Are you a licensed massage therapist or cosmetologist? Do you have a licensed therapy animal? We would love to offer these services to our patients.
Administrative Volunteer- Providing office support though clerical duties such as data entry, filing or phone calling.
