Learn what it is like to serve Hospice patients with Carter Hospice Volunteer Program. Volunteers complete sensitivity and communication training to be prepared when you begin visiting patients. You will gain experience with common life-threatening diseases, help sooth symptoms experienced by patients at end of life, and participate with staff in interdisciplinary group meetings.
