Cause Areas

It's flexible! We'll work with your schedule.

4251 Kipling St#405Wheat Ridge, CO 80033

Part of the Hospice service to patient's families is continuing our care and support for up to 13 months after a loved one dies. Our bereavement team reaches out in various ways including mailing regular condolence cards, contacting people around holidays and birthdays, and calling family members to offer supportive conversations as they process their grief.

We need volunteers to help us with all these valuable services, and are especially seeking someone with experience in Social Work Or Grief Work to aid us in our weekly bereavement calls. Depending on experience, your contributions to the bereavement team could include, composing and mailing condolence cards, helping design bereavement ceremonies, and calling to support family members and loved ones.

All applicants will be required to take or provide evidence of a TB test, a flu test in the fall, pass a criminal background check and drug test, and will be provided with up to 8 hours of training on hospice philosophy.

Please contact Volunteer Coordinator Cindy Pincus at cpincus@ehhi.com or call 303-940-9999 to apply for the position.
