SafeHouse of The Desert is a shelter for youth in crisis located in Thousand Palms with a detached Group Home that house young females between the ages of 14-17.
We are looking for a caring individual, preferably female, who would be willing to volunteer some time to teach singing lessons. One of our clients at our SafeHouse Group Home has an interest in pursuing singing and would like to take singing lessons.
If this sounds like something you would like to do then we are the organization for you!

Mission Statement
Operation SafeHouse, with community support, provides emergency shelter, intervention and outreach services to runaway, homeless, and other youth in crisis. SafeHouse Offers youth positive alternatives to becoming victims of the streets.
Description
We are a shelter for youth at risk, in crisis, or a runaway. SafeHouse of the Desert will provide a critical alternative to young people whose lives are in turmoil. We have a 3 or 4 week program. Our 4 week program is our drug and alcohol program. Our goal is to keep the family unit together.
Age range is from 11 to 17.
