Mission Statement

To empower youth around the world with breast health education and support.

Description

Since 1999, the Keep A Breast Foundation has played a prominent role in building breast cancer awareness and education with teenagers and twentysomethings through art, education and prevention. Keep A Breast has evolved from an art project visually demonstrating the physical and emotional challenges of breast cancer to a global organization with a mission of empowering young people around the world with breast health education and support.

The Keep A Breast fulfills its mission through three primary program areas:

  • Traveling Education Booth (TEB), a touring, interactive education platform, also promoting KAB’s free mobile-learning application: 'Check Yourself!’;

  • Treasured Chest Program (TCP) , provides any woman diagnosed with breast cancer an opportunity to document her body and feelings by turning her casted torso into a beautiful work of art;

  • Non Toxic Revolution (NTR), informs, educates, and inspires young people about the dangers of toxic chemicals in their environment and food supply-especially those linked to the initiation of breast cancer.
