Climb Atlanta is a signature event for the American Lung Association. It is a race up 55 flights of stairs at the Bank of America Plaza on Peachtree Street and will be held on April 22, 2017. Stair-climb events are seeing tremendous success because of their uniqueness and test of one’s physical strength, stamina and lung power. At the start line you will find fitness gurus looking for a new way to challenge themselves, corporate executives climbing to build camaraderie within their office, local fire fighters climbing in full gear, and a family tackling the stairs in honor or memory of someone affected by lung disease.

While participants are training and preparing for their climb, over 100 volunteers are needed to plan for the event, setup the event, and work the event including cleanup afterwards.

By participating, you will work hard and have fun, meet new friends, witness the amazing accomplishment of participants reaching their destination, the 55th floor, and support an organization that works to promote healthy lungs and clean air.

For more information about the Climb please visit our website at ClimbAtlanta.org. If you would like to volunteer please register at ClimbAtlanta.org or if you have a group that would like to volunteer please contact Tammie Brooks at 770-544-0529 or tammie.brooks@lungse.org
