Are you looking to make a major impact on someone's life? Volunteer to assist Hospice clients who have limited support and are struggling to achieve their goal of remaining in their homes and "aging in place". You can be paired with a client who needs extra support and would like to be "adopted" by a caring volunteer who will support the client in on-going needs and / or check in by phone to let the client know someone is thinking of them and checking on them. Light house keeping, assistance with meal prep, pet care, errand running, sitting with the client, providing supervision along with feedback to our nursing staff are all things that could ease the burden of these clients. Volunteers will be specially trained in what tasks they should provide and how to contact team members for anything outside those clear boundaries. These volunteers may also elect to be on standby per their availability to sit with a client who is having a rough day and needs a little extra supervision, support and TLC.

Mission Statement
The Mission of National Church Residences is to provide quality housing and care at affordable prices in communities of caring persons. Our ministry is national in scope and originates from a Christian commitment of service to older adults, which began in 1961. We have become a leading name in senior services, retirement community management and support for people in need. While our ministry has been targeted primarily toward older adults, we have special concern for low- and moderate-income seniors, persons with disabilities, and low- and moderate-income families. We are committed to expanding and funding services in assisted living, nursing homes, and full-service retirement communities. We also plan for thoughtful growth in affordable family housing.
