ITDRC CIS Team
Members of ITDRC’s Critical Information Systems (CIS) Team support the incident communications and technology units at the Okanogan Complex Fire in Washington State.

The Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC) is seeking an experienced Radio / Communications Technician to join our dynamic, all-volunteer team of disaster technology professionals as our Radio Communications Tech Manager.

Ideally the candidate will be able to commit 8-12 hours per month to help manage our communications strategy and equipment in our Mobile Technology Units (MTU) and radio cache.

Candidates should have advanced knowledge of commercial radio systems, and experience installing, maintaining, and programming Motorola, GE, Kenwood, and Tait mobiles, portables, and repeaters.

The Radio Communications Tech Manager may serve as an advisor and subject matter expert (SME) to field teams deployed in disaster.

Experience with Public Safety radio systems, COML, COMT, AUXCOM training is a plus, and will qualify the individual for a position on our Critical Infrastructure Systems (CIS) team.
